Before

This delightful lady presented for a tummy tuck. She had one child and gained a lot of weight with that, which left her with a lot of stretch marks and extra skin. at 5 foot 3 inches and 154 lbs. her body mass index (BMI) was a reasonable 27. She carried most of her weight on her abdomen. She was a perfect candidate for an abdominoplasty. 

After

Her postoperative photos, taken at 4 months show that she is really not so much overweight as she is stocky and solid. Her scars have settled surprisingly quickly at 4 months and will undoubtely improve even more with a bit more time. This was one of my most gratifying tummy tucks in memory.
