Before
This patient had finished her family planning after 2 children. She had also lost 42 lb through lifestyle changes and exercise. Her gynecologist recommended a hysterectomy for some problems and the patient desired to have her abdomen tightened and flattened. A tummy tuck can be done at the same time as a hysterectomy with savings to the patient in recovery time, as compared to doing them months apart. She is shown before and after this procedure. We used some silicone gel on her scars postoperatively and they turned out very well.
