Before

This young patient  had 2 children. Her breasts were a C cup before her pregnancies, went up to a DD while nursing, and afterwards she shrunk down to a B cup. She wanted more fullness but wanted to look "natural". As I do with all patients, I explained that breast augmentation is an "unnatural" thing to do and getting a totally natural result is the exception, not the rule. This aspect of the surgery is discussed in detail with all patients before surgery is scheduled. Although great results can be obtained, even those are rarely "natural".

After

She is a great example of the wonderful results that can be obtained with smooth, round saline implants under the muscle. She has Mentor implants. The implant size is 375 cc and both are filled to 400 cc. Her bra size has gone to a 36 D cup. The breasts look entirely natural and feel nearly so. They are very soft. Distortion with contraction of her muscles is minimal. She has all of her normal sensitivity. This is an exceptionally nice outcome.
