Before

This patient presenting seeking breast augmentation. She had been a D cup before her pregnancy but was now a C cup. She wanted to be back to a D cup. She did have some loss of "perkiness" as a result of her pregnancy and would have been a candidate for a small breast lift but did not want those scars. I felt I could get her a nice volume increase and that this would fill her out and make her look less saggy. I told her she would need generous implants to fill out her breasts and this was acceptable. 

Her breasts have a "relaxed" and slightly deflated quality to them often seen in patients who have had one or more children. 

After

She is shown 6 months after augmentation with Mentor round, smooth saline implants placed under the muscle. Her implants are 425 cc and are filled to 430 cc. She did not lose any feeling from the surgery. Her postoperative bra size was never documented but she is certainly a D or DD cup. She is very happy and these implants have now been in for over 15 years and are doing fine. 

While implants do not "lift" saggy breasts, the added volume can disguise mild sagging for a long time.
