Before

This lady sought breast enhancement after losing nearly 50 lbs and nursing three children. Her breasts were once DD cups and now were deflated looking C cups. She presented several challenges. Her breasts had a great deal of skin and were very deflated looking. She had an unusually wide space between them. Her options were implants alone or a breast lift first with implants later. I usually avoid placing implants at the same time as a lift because the operations work against each other and raise the risk of complications significantly. I am not interested in what I can get away with so I try to stage this surgery. In her case, she did not want the added expense or scars of a breast lift and was willing to accept the shortcomings of a breast augmentation alone. 

After

I performed her breast augmentation using Allergan Natrelle Inspira smooth, round gel implants, 485 cc. These were placed partially under the muscle (dual plane). I sized her for the implants in surgery. Her result is excellent. She feels perfectly natural with exquisitely soft breasts in which the implants can hardly be felt. She has normal sensitivity. She is back up to a D/DD cup. She still has a wider space between her breasts than ideal, but this was not expected to change much. She loves her breasts. In time, after she has enjoyed this result for a few years, she can always have a lift later, when the additional scars will be easier to accept.
