Patient - Breast Augmentation

Before

This middle-aged lady presented unhappy with the appearance of her breasts. She wanted more fullness and to feel better proportioned. She presented a significant challenge in that the lower pole (distance from the nipple to crease under the breast) was extremely short. This greatly limited the ability of an implant to produce the attractive lower pole fullness that is a hallmark of an attractive breast. Trying to lower this too much would create a "bottomed out" look that would be very unattractive.

She is shown before and after breast augmentation using Mentor round, smooth, high profile implants placed under the muscle. I used high profile implants because of her narrow chest and my need to get her good projection. The left implant is a 310 cc size, filled to 340 cc. The right implant is a 230 cc implant, filled to 275 cc. She had a wonderful result but the constricted lower pole is still evident.

She went from a 31-32 A cup to a 34 B/C cup. She is very pleased with the result.
