Before

Thgis woman came in with the usual complaints from her large breasts: pain in her back, neck, and shoulders. She tried anti-inflammatory meds, muscle relaxants, chiropractic manipulation, and various bras, all without relief. Her bra size was a 40 G cup. I thought she would do great with a breast reduction. Because of her large size, I moved her nipple/areolae as grafts rather than leaving them on the breasts. This results in loss of feeling in that area, which was not a concern for her. 

After

She is shown 6 months after a breast reduction in which I removed 717 grams from the left breast and 590 grams from the right. This was more than the minimum required by her insurer to meet medical necessity for the surgery. Her final bra size is a 38 D cup. She obtained near complete relief of all her presenting symptoms.
