Before

This 19 year old patient came in unhappy with her large, heavy breasts and wanted them smaller and lifted.

While most breast reductions are done for medical necessity, they can be done for cosmetic purposes. She did not need enough reduction to qualify for insurance coverage.

After

She is shown after a breast reduction in which 212 grams (about 7 ½ ounces) were removed from the left breast and 240 grams (8 ½ ounces) from the right. She went from a 32 D/DD bra to a 32 C.

This photo was taken 6 months after surgery. The scars are still very red and reactive but will fade away completely with a bit more time. Younger patients take longer to mature their scars than older patients.
