This young lady had very heavy, dense 38H cup breasts and a great deal of chronic pain in her back, neck, and shoulders. She had frequent headaches in the back of her head and numbness and tingling down her arms, all seen frequently in large-breasted women. I recommended a therapeutic breast reduction. Her insurance required removal of just over 200 grams (7 oz.) for this to be considered medically necessary. I knew I could remove much more.

After

She is shown six months after the surgery. I removed 630 grams from the left breast and 654 grams from the right. Her bra size is now a C cup. She is happy with that and has obtained near complete relief of all of her presenting symptoms. She retained normal sensation in her nipples. She understands that she may not be able to successfully nurse a baby, but that this is still a possibility.
