Before
This lady came in after years of problems due to her large breasts. She had chronic back, neck, and shoulder pain; rashes under her breasts; and numbness and tingling down her arms. Her bra size was a 40 DD. She wanted a breast reduction and I was happy to offer this to her.
After
Her postoperative photographs were taken six months after the surgery, which her insurance covered and in which I removed 515 grams, or just over one pound, from each breast. This is a sizeable reduction in anyone. Her postoperative bra size was a 38 C cup. Her presenting symptoms were relieved almost completely. I saw her years later for an unrelated problem and she remained delighted with the result of her reduction.
