Before

This young lady had very dense, heavy breasts and wore a 38DDD cup bra. She had chronic pain in her back, neck, and shoulders, and  recurring occipital headaches. Over-the-counter pain meds and anti-inflammatory medications provided no relief and she could not find any bras that helped. 

After

I performed a breast reduction for her and removed 431 grams (15.2 oz) from the left breast and 558 (19.7 oz) grams from the right. She said that all of her back, neck, and shoulder pain are gone and her headaches are much better. She does not know her bra size since she only wears sports bras now. She is shown 6 months after surgery. Her nipples have normal sensation. We discussed the issue of future breast feeding, if she has children, and she understands that we won't know if that will be possible until the time comes. Some patients who have had a breast reduction of this type are able to breast feed.
