Before

This young mother experienced loss of volume in her breasts and severe stretching and loss of elasticity in her abdomen as a result of having children. A "mommy makeover" is a common term that includes a variety of procedures but typically involves the breasts and abdomen. She desired to have fullness restored to her breasts and her abdominal skin tightened. I recommended a breast augmentation to be done simultaneously with a full abdominoplasty (tummy tuck). Since her problem was loose skin, liposuction had nothing to offer her. Her preoperative bra size was a 34 B cup and she said she was a D cup before having kids. 

After

Her breast augmentation was done with Mentor round, smooth moderate plus profile saline implants. The implant size is 350 cc and they were filled to 375 cc. Her new breasts look and feel about as normal as one could wish. She has retained normal sensitivity in the skin and nipples. Her new bra size is a DD cup from Victoria's Secret (since VS makes their bras on the small side, she is probably a true D cup). Her abdomen looks much improved. She still has lax skin in the transverse direction but the only way to tighten that is with a midline incision from her breast bone to her pubis. I did not think the additional tightening was worth the scar, and neither did she.
