Before

This patient had breast augmentation 10 years ago with 350 cc saline implants. Her bra size went from a B to a D cup and she was very pleased. She did not lose any feeling in her breasts. She said that she has gained some weight over the years (14 lbs) but that her breasts have grown disproportionately to where she is now in a DDD cup bra. She was  very uncomfortable and experiencing symptoms seen in patients with overly large breasts: back, neck, and shoulder pain, and muscle spasms. I recommended removal of her implants and a small reduction, more of a lift really, to correct the sagging.

After

She shown after removal of her implants, which looked very much like the day they went in, and a reduction/lift of 112 grams from the left breast and 164 grams from the right. Postoperatively, she is much more comfortable. I do not have a new bra size for her because she was enjoying so much not having to wear a bra that she had not sized herself for new ones. She has all the feeling in both breasts. The scar sections that are still pink will fade with a bit more time.
