This attractive lady, who looks a bit like the actor Helen Mirren (but isn't), felt that her eyes looked aged and tired. The fold of excess skin hung down almost to her eyelashes on both sides, more so on the right. Asymmetry in eyelids is very common. I proposed a simple, 30 minute, blepharoplasty to remove the redundant skin.

She is shown 3 months after her surgery. Her eyes look much more open and alert. The results are permanent and patients only rarely ever need to do this a second time.
